Desde Sabadell, uno de los Grandes de España con canciones muy muy románticas. Este va a ser todo un clásico. Lo prometo. A ver esos comentarios...

Dice el Wikipedia que ésta es un canción popular originalmente escrita en español por María Méndez Grever, de México, en 1934. Su título original fue 'Cuando Vuelva A Tu Lado'. (->Aquí puedes escuchar la versión española<-)

Sin embargo, la canción consiguió el éxito en su versión inlgesa, What a different a day made, adaptada por Stanley Adams y cantada por 'Harry Roy & su Orquesta'. Yo no he encontrado esa versión, así que supongo que el Wikipedia debe estar equivocado.

'What a difference a day made' es uno de los boleros más clásicos de todos los tiempos, y su cantate principal y originaria es Dinah Washington, quien consiguió un Grammy en 1959 por la versión de esta canción.

Otros artistas que han hecho su particular versión de este clásico son por ejemplo Sarah Vaughan, Renee Olstead, Eydie Gorme con Los Panchos, Luis Miguel, y Jamie Cullum.

Podemos encontrar numerosas versiones, tanto en castellano como en inglés, pero es que es un Clásicos de los Clásicos.
