Estaba buscando algo con que sorprender. Una banda sonora que fuera única. Pensé varias veces en Titanic o Tiburón, entre otras. Al final me decanté por la canción de Jimi Jamison, vocalista de Survivor, mundialmente conocidos por su Eye of the tiger.
La serie de la que hablo, tuvo como su primera banda sonora 'Save me' de Peter Cetera, pero pronto fue substituida por I'm always here.

Aquí, una nueva BSO, y a la elección de Rafa. Una película que marcó algunas infáncias. Creada por Walt Disney en el 1964. Un dato curioso de la película es que a la actriz, Julie Andrews, consiguió el papel por teléfono a pocos minutos de dar a luz. Leyenda urbana? quién sabe...
Ésta semana la BSO trata de una série. Una gran série en mi opinión. Quizá pienses que no es la canción de la serie, pero espera hasta el final. El video, para mi gusto, un poco penoso. Mira sus bocas.... Quizá te hace gracia.
Stephenie Meyers, la autora de la saga de novelas "Crepúsculo" escogió a éste grupo, como los oficiales para hacer la BSO de ésta segunda entrega. Para mi gusto, las películas no son nada del otro mundo, pero mueven una gran ola de "fénomeno fan". Quizá sean mejor los libros.
Empiezo en éste blog, y con una nueva sección: BSO!
Para empezar, explicaré un poco de historia, de los orígenes de las Bandas Sonoras.
Los primeros intentos de incorporar la banda sonora a las películas se basaban en el funcionamiento del proyector y un fonógrafo. En realidad, en muchas de las mejores salas de proyección ya existía el "acompañamiento musical", normalmente proporcionado por un piano o pianola. Si alguna cinta perdía interés por parte del público, se le animaba en ocasiones con números musicales o actuaciones, antes, durante o después de la película.
Otra sistema de exhibir la banda sonora de una película ha sido el music-show (1995). El espectáculo consiste en un programa de software integrado en un láser que se va repartiendo por todas las partes de la sala envolviendo al espectador en un transcurso relacionado con la película, y a su vez, con una orquesta sinfónica compuesta por miles de músicos, y dirigidos por un director de orquesta que va interpretándola al acompañamiento del montaje visual.
De esta manera, y con predominantes de la música y el sonido, las grandes compañías del cine se lanzaron a una producción desenfrenada de películas con canciones, musicales e incluso con baile.
La primera BSO que se creó fué para la película, El asesinato del Duque de Guise (Louis Silver, 1908).
Bueno, después de ésta "chapa", interesante para alguno, conocidos para otro, o incluso aburrido... Pongo la primera BSO Disney, "Blancanieves y los 7 enanitos" (1938). Pongo una de muchas que tiene la película, cómo es de saber que las películas de Disney son famosas por sus canciones, entre otras cosas. Y pongo ésta canción para que, cómo bien dice, cuando estés triste, canta!

Como banda sonora de la efímera serie de A3 (eso le pasa por acabar con Aquñi no quién viva), Jesse & Joy componen y cantan ESTO ES LO QUE SOY, canción que, al igual que Pignoise con Nada que perder en LHDP, hubiera llegado al éxito si la serie hubiera llegado al éxito.

Compañeros era el título de una gran serie de los noventa. Para muchos, la mejor serie de la historia, que contaba las vivencias de una pandilla de jóvenes encabezada por Quimi y Valle. (Tipo Física o Química, pero infinitamente mejor).
No te fallaré era su canción de presentación, el 'opening' de cada capítulo. El original fue compuesto y cantado por Greta y los Garbo.

Pero, como toda serie, tiene su final. Y acabo en los cines. La pelicula, de título No te fallaré, tenia como banda sonora canciones de Amaral y Dover. De hecho, la serie de compañeros fue la que dio fama a las primeras canciones de Amaral.
